Training

To ensure we offer a quality service, we are continually reinvesting in technology and training our staff.

All office based staff are multi trained in estimating, design and CAD drawing. Site operatives are trained and re-trained as and when necessary; and all hold scissor lift licences as well as JIB registration of competence. All foremen are qualified to City & Guilds 2391 Inspection and Testing.

Health & Safety

Steele Electrics to date have an exemplary Health & Safety record, which has been achieved with the assistance of the ECA.

We are kept up to date with new legislation and regulations and we receive monthly updates via their Health & Safety division (HASCOM). In addition to the above we will be involved in the new initiative ZAP (Zero Accident Policy).

We have also been successfully assessed under the construction of Health & Safety (CHAS) assessment scheme.

Steele Electrics also has an in-house Health & Safety Manager, and all the Directors, Contracts Managers and foremen have received formal training in CDM. All operatives have passed the ECS H & S scheme assessment.

Quality

To maintain quality Steele Electrics has been assessed through the ECA, and has successfully passed technical assessments to work within the European specifications 59004 1998 for Electrical Installations and Fire Alarms within the building and industrial units.

Through the NICEIC we have attained the required standards to display the UKAS quality mark.

We are also registered with the REC of Ireland. In addition the company, through the ECA, hold warranty and bond certificates.
